Every bride needs something Old, something New, something Borrowed and something Blue. A great way to showcase the "something blue" is to incorporate blue stones into your jewelry.
A young bride commissioned a pair of earrings for her wedding, her dress was not ornate and she didn't want to wear a necklace, so the earrings had to make a big impact. We decided to use a pair of gorgeous blue spinels as the focal part of the earrings and surround them with diamonds, 18k white gold and sapphires.
To give the earrings a little extra... the top part can be worn separately, as small diamond and sapphire studs.
What was also special about these earrings is that they were a wedding gift to her from her family. What a remarkable way to be a part of a loved one's special day. And look at the gorgeous couple, so happy to join their lives together.
